Section 6 - Digiting on, Screaming, Digging

Digiting on it is an action applying to one number and one thing. Understand "Digit [number] on [something]", "write [number] on [something]", "enter [number] on/in [something]", "tap [number] on/at [something]", "type [number] on/in [something]" as digiting on it.

Report digiting on it:

say "You tap at [the second noun] with no evident outcome.".

Screaming is an action applying to nothing. Understand "scream", "yell" as screaming.

Report screaming:

if the player is in the Vacation House:

say "You scream at the top of your lungs, startling Uncle Oren.";

else if the player is in the Terrace:

say "You scream, irritating Andy.";

else:

say "Futile. In space, no one can hear you scream."

Digging is an action applying to nothing. Understand "dig" as digging.

Report digging:

say "You scrape at the ground with bare hands, accomplishing nothing."

Shoveling is an action applying to one touchable thing. Understand "dig [something]" as shoveling.

Report shoveling:

say "You scrape at [the noun] with bare hands, accomplishing nothing."
